Plan for the little things & the big things take care of themselves
The saying goes, time flies when you`re having fun. One minute you have a year to plan, the next you are flying home from your epic event or wedding. Having a plan in place for your time in destination means dinner reservations are set, car hire and transfers are confirmed and guests have all the info they need to bother you as little as possible. All of these services and recommendations should be settled in advance, the island is so busy in summer so to minimise stress & maximise enjoyment, nothing should be left to chance
Stay cool
Carry a fan, better yet, gift them to your guests
Don`t start celebrating too early, in summer the Spanish sun goes down between 9-10pm
Put fresh flowers out just before guests arrive so they don`t wilt in the heat
Plenty of hydration for your guests - think infused water & welcome lemonade stands
Stay in the shade until the sun cools down, parasols are also a great gift for guests
Dress for happiness
We´ve seen many soaked shirts and glowing faces in our time, remember it is much hotter under the Mediterranean sun and traditional formal clothing will guarantee to turn the temperature up even more. If your celebrations call for formal wear, we highly recommend you lose it after photos and remember to bring a second ´fit to slip into once the sun goes down and the party turns up
